# ShopWSS vs Turntables

The clearest difference is rating: Turntables at 4.9 against ShopWSS's 4.4. Turntables also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). ShopWSS's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 39). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Turntables holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ShopWSS has 1.4K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ShopWSS ships an update every 3 weeks, Turntables every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
