# Brilliant Smart Home System vs Elevon

The clearest difference is monetization model: Elevon at free against Brilliant Smart Home System's free with in-app purchases. Elevon also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Brilliant Smart Home System's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Elevon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brilliant Smart Home System has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Brilliant Smart Home System ships an update every 3 weeks, Elevon every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
