# FlinkCounter vs OET

The clearest difference is update cadence: OET at every 2 months against FlinkCounter's every 5 months. OET also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). FlinkCounter's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FlinkCounter ships an update every 5 months, OET every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
