# Prayminder vs HolyScrolls

The clearest difference is rating: Prayminder at 4.9 against HolyScrolls's 4.0. Prayminder also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ratings volume (4.9K vs 4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HolyScrolls sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Prayminder asks for nothing beyond the download.

Prayminder holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prayminder has 4.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of Prayminder's written reviews are positive against 100% of HolyScrolls's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Prayminder ships an update every 3 weeks, HolyScrolls every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
