# ID vs FAST

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FAST at none against ID's 1. On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ID sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FAST asks for nothing beyond the download.

ID ships an update every 3 months, FAST every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
