# Speedometer ٞ vs 88 MPH

The clearest difference is rating: Speedometer ٞ at 4.3 against 88 MPH's 3.9. Speedometer ٞ also leads on ratings volume (779 vs 10) and device support (4 vs 2). 88 MPH's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 52%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Speedometer ٞ holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speedometer ٞ has 779 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Speedometer ٞ's written reviews are positive against 63% of 88 MPH's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
