# Reconnect Community vs iBac

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iBac at 100% against Reconnect Community's 8%. iBac also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). Reconnect Community's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 15 months) and rating (2.2 vs 1.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Reconnect Community holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Reconnect Community's written reviews are positive against 100% of iBac's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Reconnect Community ships an update weekly, iBac every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
