# IKOS vs PAK IDENTITY

The clearest difference is rating: PAK IDENTITY at 4.5 against IKOS's 3.5. PAK IDENTITY also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). IKOS's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IKOS sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. PAK IDENTITY asks for nothing beyond the download.

PAK IDENTITY holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PAK IDENTITY has 13K ratings behind it against 130, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of IKOS's written reviews are positive against 27% of PAK IDENTITY's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IKOS ships an update every 2 months, PAK IDENTITY weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
