# ALA Mobile Conference vs Amplifier AR

The clearest difference is rating: ALA Mobile Conference at 4.2 against Amplifier AR's 3.2. ALA Mobile Conference also leads on ratings volume (632 vs 19). Amplifier AR's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 40%) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ALA Mobile Conference holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ALA Mobile Conference has 632 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of ALA Mobile Conference's written reviews are positive against 63% of Amplifier AR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ALA Mobile Conference ships an update every 5 months, Amplifier AR every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
