# Trend Micro VPN vs i2VPN

The clearest difference is monetization model: Trend Micro VPN at free with in-app purchases against i2VPN's subscription. Trend Micro VPN also leads on ads (none vs shown). i2VPN's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (88% vs 77%).
