# Trend Micro VPN vs InventoryProof

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Trend Micro VPN at 1.9K against InventoryProof's 1. Trend Micro VPN also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). InventoryProof's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trend Micro VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and InventoryProof sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

InventoryProof holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trend Micro VPN has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
