# NimiTV vs IPKO TV

The clearest difference is rating: NimiTV at 4.0 against IPKO TV's 3.0. NimiTV also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (33 vs 2). IPKO TV's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 72%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NimiTV holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NimiTV has 33 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of NimiTV's written reviews are positive against 100% of IPKO TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NimiTV ships an update every 6 weeks, IPKO TV every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
