# Weedplates vs Epson FastFoto

The clearest difference is price: Epson FastFoto at Free against Weedplates's $0.99. Epson FastFoto also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 4). Weedplates's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 35%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Epson FastFoto is free to download; Weedplates costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Epson FastFoto holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Epson FastFoto has 1.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Weedplates's written reviews are positive against 35% of Epson FastFoto's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Weedplates ships an update every 3 weeks, Epson FastFoto every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
