# Digger 2 vs Dig Master

The clearest difference is rating: Digger 2 at 4.5 against Dig Master's 3.8. Digger 2 also leads on ratings volume (77 vs 10). Dig Master's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 13) and update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digger 2 sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Dig Master asks for nothing beyond the download.

Digger 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digger 2 has 77 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Digger 2's written reviews are positive against 40% of Dig Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Digger 2 ships an update monthly, Dig Master every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
