# OLEDX vs AOD Battery

The clearest difference is rating: OLEDX at 4.6 against AOD Battery's 3.3. OLEDX also leads on ratings volume (5.2K vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). AOD Battery's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OLEDX sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AOD Battery sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OLEDX holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OLEDX has 5.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of OLEDX's written reviews are positive against 50% of AOD Battery's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OLEDX ships an update every 10 months, AOD Battery every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
