# Go Plane vs Rocket Hands

Go Plane and Rocket Hands both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Rocket Hands's written reviews are positive against 44% of Go Plane's. Rocket Hands also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0). Go Plane's advantage is ratings volume (73K vs 90) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 6 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Go Plane sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Rocket Hands asks for nothing beyond the download.

Go Plane holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Go Plane has 73K ratings behind it against 90, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Go Plane's written reviews are positive against 80% of Rocket Hands's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Go Plane ships an update every 3 months, Rocket Hands every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
