# faceout vs Ejecto

The clearest difference is rating: Ejecto at 5.0 against faceout's 4.4. faceout's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. faceout sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Ejecto sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ejecto holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: faceout has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

faceout ships an update fortnightly, Ejecto monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
