# C vs Ask VT

The clearest difference is rating: Ask VT at 5.0 against C's 4.3. C's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (75% vs 50%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ask VT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of C's written reviews are positive against 50% of Ask VT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

C ships an update every 5 days, Ask VT every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
