# Harvey's vs Hungree

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hungree at 100% against Harvey's's 21%. Harvey's's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (458 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Harvey's holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Harvey's has 458 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Harvey's's written reviews are positive against 100% of Hungree's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Harvey's ships an update every 2 months, Hungree every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
