# Hamyk vs Privada

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Hamyk at none against Privada's 3. Hamyk also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Privada's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Privada sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Hamyk asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hamyk ships an update monthly, Privada fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
