# Snap & Translate vs Documents Translator

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Snap & Translate at 10K against Documents Translator's 79. Snap & Translate also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). Documents Translator's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (54% vs 30%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snap & Translate sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Documents Translator sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Documents Translator holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5.
