# Noor Play vs VidTower

The clearest difference is monetization model: VidTower at free with in-app purchases against Noor Play's subscription. VidTower also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (43% vs 34%). Noor Play's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.5 vs 4.0). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noor Play sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and VidTower sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Noor Play holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noor Play has 9.3K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Noor Play's written reviews are positive against 43% of VidTower's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Noor Play ships an update monthly, VidTower every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
