# EZ vs Rayons

The clearest difference is price: EZ at Free against Rayons's $4.99. EZ also leads on iOS requirement (9.3 vs 26.0). Rayons's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

EZ is free to download; Rayons costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EZ ships an update every 5 months, Rayons every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
