# Pet Reminder vs mimi

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pet Reminder at free against mimi's freemium. mimi's advantage is ratings volume (6.5K vs 2) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pet Reminder sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and mimi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

mimi holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5.
