# TRUE Go vs Houzz Pro

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TRUE Go at none against Houzz Pro's 15. TRUE Go also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Houzz Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (5K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Houzz Pro sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month. TRUE Go asks for nothing beyond the download.

TRUE Go holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Houzz Pro has 5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TRUE Go ships an update every 5 months, Houzz Pro every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
