# VIAVI Mobile Tech vs Sitetracker App

The clearest difference is rating: Sitetracker App at 4.0 against VIAVI Mobile Tech's 3.4. Sitetracker App also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (35 vs 5). VIAVI Mobile Tech's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 14%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sitetracker App holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sitetracker App has 35 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of VIAVI Mobile Tech's written reviews are positive against 14% of Sitetracker App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VIAVI Mobile Tech ships an update every 3 months, Sitetracker App fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
