# Saily Seas vs Stack Islands

The clearest difference is rating: Saily Seas at 4.7 against Stack Islands's 2.5. Saily Seas also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 2). Stack Islands's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Saily Seas sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stack Islands sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Saily Seas holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Saily Seas has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 81% and 80% positive.

Saily Seas ships an update weekly, Stack Islands every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
