# Basement Guardian vs Moen Flo

The clearest difference is rating: Moen Flo at 4.4 against Basement Guardian's 2.7. Moen Flo also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (26K vs 23). Basement Guardian's advantage is review sentiment (41% vs 16%) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Moen Flo holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Moen Flo has 26K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two.
