# Flower Child vs Summit Coffee

The clearest difference is monetization model: Flower Child at free against Summit Coffee's free with in-app purchases. Flower Child also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (35K vs 2.6K). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Flower Child against 4.9 for Summit Coffee. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flower Child has 35K ratings behind it against 2.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Flower Child's written reviews are positive against 56% of Summit Coffee's.

Flower Child ships an update weekly, Summit Coffee every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
