# LogBook Evident vs Gexa Energy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LogBook Evident at 67% against Gexa Energy's 22%. LogBook Evident also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Gexa Energy's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 6) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gexa Energy holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gexa Energy has 11K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of LogBook Evident's written reviews are positive against 22% of Gexa Energy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
