# Switch vs Sky Look

The clearest difference is ads: Sky Look at none against Switch's shown. Sky Look also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks). Switch's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 9). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.8 for Switch against 2.8 for Sky Look. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Switch has 1.5K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Switch ships an update every 6 weeks, Sky Look every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
