# Scanner PDF vs PDF Scanner ●

The clearest difference is rating: Scanner PDF at 4.6 against PDF Scanner ●'s 3.9. Scanner PDF also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (20K vs 15). PDF Scanner ●'s advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (67% vs 32%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scanner PDF sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and PDF Scanner ● sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scanner PDF holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scanner PDF has 20K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Scanner PDF's written reviews are positive against 67% of PDF Scanner ●'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scanner PDF ships an update every 3 months, PDF Scanner ● weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
