# Study Helper vs Vocalist

The clearest difference is rating: Vocalist at 4.8 against Study Helper's 4.2. Vocalist also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 12). Study Helper's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (43% vs 26%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vocalist sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Study Helper asks for nothing beyond the download.

Vocalist holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vocalist has 1.9K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Study Helper's written reviews are positive against 26% of Vocalist's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
