# Pixelmania vs Tipixel

The clearest difference is ads: Tipixel at none against Pixelmania's shown. Tipixel also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). Pixelmania's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (4.3K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pixelmania sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Tipixel sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pixelmania holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pixelmania has 4.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Pixelmania's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tipixel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pixelmania ships an update every 10 days, Tipixel every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
