# WWS vs DStV

The clearest difference is update cadence: WWS at every 4 months against DStV's every 15 months. DStV's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WWS ships an update every 4 months, DStV every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
