# stc tv vs EZBuzzer

stc tv and EZBuzzer both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of EZBuzzer's written reviews are positive against 49% of stc tv's. EZBuzzer also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 weeks). stc tv's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (14K vs 20). On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. stc tv sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and EZBuzzer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for stc tv against 4.7 for EZBuzzer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: stc tv has 14K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 49% of stc tv's written reviews are positive against 93% of EZBuzzer's.

stc tv ships an update every 4 weeks, EZBuzzer every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
