# Reviver vs RE

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Reviver at none against RE's 1. Reviver also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RE sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Reviver asks for nothing beyond the download.

Reviver ships an update fortnightly, RE every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
