# Optix vs COhatch App

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Optix at 157 against COhatch App's 4. Optix also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Optix against 5.0 for COhatch App. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Optix has 157 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Optix ships an update every 5 weeks, COhatch App every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
