# Optix vs NeuroTask

The clearest difference is price: Optix at Free against NeuroTask's $6.99. Optix also leads on ratings volume (149 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Optix is free to download; NeuroTask costs $6.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Optix against 5.0 for NeuroTask. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Optix has 149 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
