# Enigma Type vs BluFind

The clearest difference is update cadence: BluFind at every 2 months against Enigma Type's every 11 months. Enigma Type's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Enigma Type sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and BluFind sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Enigma Type ships an update every 11 months, BluFind every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
