# 破竹 vs Chatbox

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Chatbox at none against 破竹's 10. Chatbox also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (669 vs 1). 破竹's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (14.3 vs 16.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 破竹 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Chatbox asks for nothing beyond the download.

破竹 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chatbox has 669 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
