# Robeks vs Plateback

Robeks and Plateback both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Plateback's written reviews are positive against 73% of Robeks's. Plateback also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). Robeks's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Robeks against 5.0 for Plateback. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Robeks has 13K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Robeks's written reviews are positive against 100% of Plateback's.

Robeks ships an update every 3 months, Plateback every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
