# Foto You vs SeenLog

The clearest difference is rating: SeenLog at 4.4 against Foto You's 3.0. SeenLog also leads on ratings volume (5K vs 6) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). Foto You's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (67% vs 46%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Foto You sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and SeenLog sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SeenLog holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SeenLog has 5K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Foto You's written reviews are positive against 46% of SeenLog's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Foto You ships an update every 3 months, SeenLog every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
