# GWN vs BestCon

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BestCon at 100% against GWN's 56%. BestCon also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). GWN's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GWN holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of GWN's written reviews are positive against 100% of BestCon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GWN ships an update every 3 months, BestCon fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
