# MegaPay vs EZ Screen Translator

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MegaPay at none against EZ Screen Translator's 4. MegaPay also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (51% vs 19%). EZ Screen Translator's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (795 vs 109). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EZ Screen Translator sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. MegaPay asks for nothing beyond the download.

EZ Screen Translator holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EZ Screen Translator has 795 ratings behind it against 109, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of MegaPay's written reviews are positive against 19% of EZ Screen Translator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MegaPay ships an update fortnightly, EZ Screen Translator every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
