# InfoLock vs DVB

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: InfoLock at none against DVB's 1. InfoLock also leads on iOS requirement (10.2 vs 17.0). DVB's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 10 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DVB sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. InfoLock asks for nothing beyond the download.

InfoLock ships an update every 10 months, DVB every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
