# PIX vs Dropcoo

The clearest difference is ads: Dropcoo at none against PIX's shown. Dropcoo also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). PIX's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and ratings volume (72 vs 12). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 1.8 for PIX against 1.8 for Dropcoo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PIX has 72 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 4% of PIX's written reviews are positive against 0% of Dropcoo's.

PIX ships an update fortnightly, Dropcoo monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
