# NoCatch VPN vs Leaf

The clearest difference is rating: Leaf at 5.0 against NoCatch VPN's 4.5. Leaf also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). NoCatch VPN's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoCatch VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 3 months. Leaf asks for nothing beyond the download.

Leaf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoCatch VPN has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NoCatch VPN ships an update every 2 months, Leaf fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
