# NoCatch VPN vs kkVPN

The clearest difference is ads: NoCatch VPN at none against kkVPN's shown. NoCatch VPN also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 340). kkVPN's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (33% vs 24%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoCatch VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 3 months and kkVPN sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoCatch VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.3K and 340 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of NoCatch VPN's written reviews are positive against 33% of kkVPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NoCatch VPN ships an update every 2 months, kkVPN every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
