# NoCatch VPN vs Privacy VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Privacy VPN at 50% against NoCatch VPN's 24%. Privacy VPN also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). NoCatch VPN's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 53). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoCatch VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 3 months and Privacy VPN sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoCatch VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoCatch VPN has 1.3K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of NoCatch VPN's written reviews are positive against 50% of Privacy VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NoCatch VPN ships an update every 2 months, Privacy VPN monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
